Attention families of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders
It's time for our annual after school program! Registration forms and an informational flyer went home yesterday for students in 2nd-5th grades. If interested, please return as soon as possible because space is limited. Tuesday, November 10th is our registration deadline.

Next week we will dress up to promote kindness throughout our school! We are excited to see you all dressed up!

It's going to be a great time for MMES! Please join us for our Scholastic Book Fair!
Students will be able to view the Book Fair to create a wish list during their library time on Monday and Tuesday. If they have money on these days they can also make purchases as well.
Students are also allowed to shop anytime on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday during the week at a time that is convenient for their classroom teachers, as long as they have money.
We hope you can join us for our family event night Thursday from 4:30-7:00 PM!

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 22nd, from 1:00-3:00 and 4:30-7:00. Students will be dismissed at 12 PM. We will also have our Title 1 Math Night from 4:30-7:00. Parents and students will be treated to a FREE hot dog supper. We will also have lots of math games and activities happening in the gym. We look forward to seeing you then!

To help the FCHS Pioneers celebrate Homecoming, MMES will participate in dress-up days, too! Show your Pioneer Pride next week!

Thank you to the Wythe County Sheriff's Office and the Virginia State Police for covering lunch duty for our teachers and paraprofessionals today, and to the MMES PTO for providing lunch! 💜💛

Please take a few minutes to click the link below and learn more about how the 1% sales tax will benefit the students and schools of Wythe County.
Being informed is important, and we encourage everyone in our school community to learn how these funds could support our schools, facilities, and—most importantly—our students.
💜💛 Thank you for taking the time to learn more and for your continued support of Wythe County students, and especially Max Meadows Elementary!
